VLI - PORTAL

Context
VLI is a company operating in the logistics and transportation sector, offering integrated solutions for various segments of the economy, including agribusiness, industry, mining, and steel.

Challenge
The challenge faced was to develop a new institutional portal capable of encompassing all areas of VLI's operations and informing its broad ecosystem of audiences about news, institutional information, social initiatives, and relevant bureaucratic issues. The aim was to overcome the limitations of the previous website, which failed to present this ecosystem of information in an organized and structured manner.
Strategy
Our strategy for the development of the new website was based on two fundamental pillars:

1. Definition of Information Hierarchy: Conducting an analysis and prioritization process of the information to be presented on the website, ensuring that the most relevant ones were highlighted clearly and accessibly.

2. Aligning the different objectives of the website with the brand's ecosystem: Considering the various expectations and needs of internal and external audiences of VLI, ensuring that the website met all its communication and interaction objectives.
What We Accomplished

In the project, we conducted an extensive discovery process, including internal interviews with different areas of the company to understand their perceptions and needs regarding the website.

We conducted a workshop with the board to prioritize the main objectives and content of the website, defining a structure that met the expectations of each audience.

Completion of a comprehensive diagnosis of the previous website to support the elaboration of a technical and UX report. This process involved a detailed analysis of the website's performance and usability, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities.

Development of a new site map according to all the information and data gathered during the investigation process.
Challenges Overcome
After the project, we overcame several challenges and optimized the brand in the sector:

Effective integration of a large amount of information and needs on a single platform, ensuring that the new website met the expectations of all VLI stakeholders.

Balancing different perceptions and priorities during the development process, ensuring that the final result was balanced and effective.

Substantial improvements in terms of performance and usability in navigation. We implemented various technical and design improvements to ensure a smoother and more intuitive user experience, thus increasing efficiency and user satisfaction when accessing the website.
Results Achieved
As a result of the project, the new institutional website of VLI was successfully launched. It significantly improved how the company communicates with its diverse audiences, providing relevant information in a more accessible and organized manner. The new portal contributed to strengthening VLI's image and online presence, consolidating its position as a leading company in the logistics and transportation sector.
